Farewell
on saying farewell to the rivers of my childhood
goodbye to all the currents beyond my reach
on having to close my mouth for too long
hold your breath before rivers begin to speak
on taking short showers for the sake of the planet
not enough space to save the earth beneath my feet
as if the planet was not a drink to be poured by some
as if this world was not meant to be lived by me
goodbye to all the currents beyond my reach
on having to close my mouth for too long
hold your breath before rivers begin to speak
on taking short showers for the sake of the planet
not enough space to save the earth beneath my feet
as if the planet was not a drink to be poured by some
as if this world was not meant to be lived by me
